Sand Mba Kalu has over 7 years professional experience, working in a complex multicultural environment in International Trade and Investment. He has played a lead role in Business Development, Consultancy and Research for clients across Africa. He has presented one of his research works at a PUBLIC HEARING in European Parliament, Brussels to the Committee on International Trade, themed; Africa Rising? Trade policy responses to sustainable growth challenges: Trade and investment as enablers of economic transformation of Sub-Saharan Africa. Sand has previously work with Africa International Trade and Commerce Research Ltd, Export Connection, UK, Knowledge Edge Education Management Ltd, in both the Nigeria and the UK offices, Industrial Trust UK, CRED Foundation UK, Orji Ajah and Co (Chartered Accountants).
Sand is an alumnus of University of Portsmouth, UK, with a first degree in International Trade and an MSc in Business and Management from the same University. He also holds Certificate in Professional Consultancy, Value Management, Certificate in Management Consulting Essential (CMCE), and has attended several professional development courses with International Trade Centre, (ITC), World Trade Organisation (WTO), World Bank, and Future Learning, UK.
A professional member of Chartered Management Institute, UK, Institute of Consulting, UK and Institute of Business Management and Policy Development of Nigeria, Sand also does volunteer work to several social enterprise that mentor young people, support old people and gives back to the society. He is an enthusiast of the Formula 1 Motor Sport.
