Dr Chike Nwangwu
Dr. Chike Nwangwu is the Chief Executive Officer of NOIPolls Limited. With over 13 years’ experience in data management, consulting, research, monitoring and evaluation, Dr. Chike oversees the general management of the company’s day-to-day operations.
Prior to joining NOIPolls, Dr. Chike was with Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation, where he managed the data and analytics team providing analytic support to the organization. He oversaw the performance management program of HSDF in 4 states establishing relationships with the senior stakeholders in the states towards improving the use of data for decision making. He also led the team providing contract management and data verification services in the performance-based financing project in Nigeria – the Nigeria State Health Investment Project (AF-NSHIP). His core skills include performance management, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis and interpretations, quantitative and qualitative research. He is a Lives Saved Tool (LiST) expert building the capacity to use the LiST to calculate health outcomes and lives saved by various health interventions. He supported the development of the framework for the Saving One Million Lives Pay for results program (SOML P4R) in Nigeria and has provided support for large scale community-based surveys like the expansion of the SMART survey in Nigeria to cover the entire country and the Nigerian Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) 2013. His previous work experience spans several organizations including FHI360, MSH, Global Fund and World Bank.
Dr. Chike is a medical doctor and got his MBBS from the University of Nigeria. He also has a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree both from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD USA. He is certified in performance-based financing (PBF).
Dr. Chike is passionate about data and evidence gathering across all sectors and expanding NOIPolls operations across the West-African sub-region. He is an avid tennis fan and a scrabble player.
Obi Onyeajunwanne-Ibrahim is the Director of Operations at NOI Polls. She has over 10 years’ experience in Operations and Administration. As Director of Operations at NOI Polls, she is responsible for the management of staff and liaison with superiors to make decisions for operational activities.
Before NOI Polls, Obi was the Executive Assistant to the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy at the Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja Nigeria where she was responsible for information management support, screening and prioritizing of correspondence and management of the Minister’s schedule. Her duties also covered representation of the Minister’s Office at several fora, report preparation, filing and organization of documents, research and memo preparation and management of clerical staff and office supplies. As part of the Minister’s frontline operations team, Obi assisted in the coordination of sister financial government institutions for the preparation of the Ministry’s end-of-tenure report including researching into the merits and demerits of extant financial regulations. As Special Assistant to the MD/CEO on Governmental Affairs at the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, Obi was the liaison between the CEO and related government institutions. She was further responsible for the management of appointments and correspondence, preparation of briefing sheets for meetings and conferences and the scheduling and logistics for meetings. Obi was able to secure a more responsive relationship between the NSIA and related investment establishments during her time at the NSIA.
Obi holds the BSc in Physics from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology and a Postgraduate Degree in Geology from the University of Port-Harcourt. She is currently undertaking an MBA at the Birmingham Business School, United Kingdom.
Obi is passionate about charity work for the less privileged in the society with focus on women empowerment and education for the girl-child. By personal endeavors, she has helped several girls complete their senior secondary school education in terms of financing and leadership skills.
Mr. Christian Obi is the Director of finance and Account at NOIPolls Limited. A Chartered Accountant with over 18 years working experience in tax audit and investigation, tax advisory and consultancy services. He manages the company’s finances, ensuring the organization meets its financial obligations.
Christian has significant experience in compliance services involving value added tax and withholding tax management, PAYE tax administration for both local and expatriate staff, corporate and capital gains tax and tax planning services. He started his career with Prudent Finance Limited as junior investment officer and later joined Prudent Merchant Bank Plc (now part of Skye Bank Plc) as a Senior Investment officer. Christian joined Alliance Consulting as an accountant and eventually rose to become the company’s Chief Finance Officer, a position he held until he joined NOI-Polls Limited. His work experience cut across Banking, Auditing and Taxation, Consulting and Manufacturing.
He is a graduate of University of Lagos and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is an associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Mr. Christian is an ardent fan of Chelsea Football Club and enjoys gospel music. He is also a fitness enthusiast.
Dr Grace Onubedo
Dr. Grace Onubedo is the Deputy Director of Research at NOIPolls Limited. She has over 7 years professional experience in both the academic and non-academic (non-profit) sectors and supervises the entire research department in the organization.
Her plethora of experience in research analysis include: a scoping study of Nigeria’s tobacco market, funded by campaign for tobacco free kids (CTFK); digital technology and fertilizer reforms (e-wallet) in Nigeria, funded by Centre for Global Development, USA; and educational performance in Nigeria: the dimensions, drivers and implication for SDGs, funded by Southern Voice on Post-MDGs. She has also undergone training on Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) modelling and Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modelling, this has equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary for forecasting and estimating macroeconomic outcomes.
She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Master of Science degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Leeds, UK. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from Central University Ghana. She is also an affiliate member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA). Her research Interests include: macroeconomics, international finance, development economics, labor economics and financial economics. She previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Leeds Business School, UK and as a Research/Account Analyst with Databank, Ghana.
Dr Grace enjoys reading works of fiction, various music genres and cooking. She is also a keen traveler who enjoys exploring new cultures and delicacies.
Christiana Ogbe is the Head of the Corporate Communications and Knowledge Management Unit. She is responsible for developing and leading the company’s internal and external communication strategy, as well as managing and overseeing all the activities of the communications team to support the company’s goals.
She also has oversight of the NOIPolls Opinion Polling Centre (NOPC), where she coordinates the affairs of the Polling Centre and supports all polling activities which includes survey instrument design, data collection, report writing and implementation of quality control measures on public opinion polls.
She has an MBA from Cardiff University, United Kingdom, with a focus on Market Research, Strategic Management and Management Consulting. She also holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension from the University of Technology Minna.
Having worked in various sectors for a period of 12 years; at reputable organizations including SKY UK, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Bank of Agriculture (BOA); and currently at NOIPolls, she has garnered professional experience in Strategic Communications, Research, Project Management, Administration, Leadership and Team Management.
She has personal interest in advocacy for gender equality, women empowerment for sustainable development and women mentoring. She is also a lover of arts and fashion.
Hamza is the Head of Field Operations at NOIPolls Limited, a position he has held since joining the organization since 2013. He has over 14 years work experience in professional services, consulting, socio-economic, health and market research, in the areas of qualitative and quantitative research and field management.
Prior to joining NOIPolls, Hamza was a research executive and the Head of Unit at Market Research Consultancy Ltd Nigeria. He managed PAN Nigeria Projects for Nigerian Breweries, Coco Cola, Niger rite, Dulux paints, Total, Oando etc. Hamza has led several surveys and assignments for the UK Department for International Development (DFID) funded programs such as ENABLE, FOSTER, GEMS, NSRP, Solar Nigeria, SPARC and NIAF. He has also managed US State Department funded surveys on the Niger Delta and consulted for the World Bank, International Republican Institute (IRI), and the German and Japanese development agencies GIZ and JICA amongst others. Hamza was a national expert for the GFA Consulting Group, he is an experienced focus group moderator in different languages and also delivers quality reports. Hamza is a very experienced researcher who has handled both quantitative and qualitative research assignments.
He holds degrees in Banking and Finance and a Masters in Business Administration. Hamza has been exposed to diverse research methods and has worked with a variety of clients in different industries. He is proficient in data collection using electronic data capture devices, having been in charge of numerous research projects for a leading multinational in Nigeria that required daily tracking. He has worked in all states in Nigeria and has traveled to work on different projects in Togo, Ghana, Benin Republic, Abidjan, Cameroon, Mali etc.
Hamza is passionate about learning new languages and speaks English, Hausa, Yoruba, Pidgin and Ebira fluently. He is an avid tennis player who also enjoys reading and traveling.
Sunday Joseph Duntoye
Sunday is the Head of the Data Analytics Team at NOIPolls and leads a team of research associates and analysts that are directly responsible for research design tasks, survey methodologies, data processing, data mining/weighting, statistical data analysis which lead to significant insights and inferences to support decision making and ultimately satisfy clients’ research needs.
Prior to joining NOIPolls in 2013, he worked as a Senior Statistician in a Market Research Consultancy Limited Lagos for more than 2 years and also worked as an Independent Research/Data Analytics Consultant on various social, economic and political projects for 4 years. Sunday has worked on notable projects (on baseline/M&E research related activities) with renowned organizations such as WHO, World Bank, National Agency for the Control of AIDs (NACA), GIZ, Coca-Cola Nigeria, Nigeria Breweries, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Centre for Democracy & Development (CDD), German Embassy, MTN Nigeria, British Council, UKAID/USAID sponsored research projects among others.
He graduated from University of Ilorin, Nigeria with a BSc and an MSc Statistics in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He has over 12 years work experience in research consulting, survey data management and data analysis across market, social, economic, political and health research projects and has spent the last 7 years in managerial positions, mostly for development related projects.
Sunday is a highly skilled Organist and has a special interest in singing, playing and listening to Gospel and Classical Music.
Raphael is the Team Lead Social Research at NOIPolls. He has over 10 years’ cross-cutting research and program experiences on Governance, Business Development, Community Resilience, Violence and Conflict, Health, Agriculture and education.
Prior to joining NOIPolls, he was the Program Officer, Research and Strategy Development at the CLEEN Foundation where he coordinated nationwide surveys and programs; including the National Crime and Victimization Surveys, Harvard Justice Indicator Program and the West African Border Security Surveys. Raphael was also the National Investigator for Afrobarometer Surveys where he successfully planned and led the implementation of all surveys on their behalf in Nigeria. Over the last 4 years with NOIPolls, he has led several surveys and opinion polls for both Local and International Development Organizations in Nigeria such as the International Republican Institute (IRI), DFID, USAID, United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the German Embassy, The World Bank, and the Global Fund program on health among others. He possesses the requisite intellectual capital, skills and exposure to manage any research-based intervention program within the framework of global development in the Sub-Saharan Africa having worked with diverse project teams, program partners and country stakeholders to deliver program objectives. He has attended various research training’s and courses in different African countries including South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya and Senegal.
He holds Masters Degree in Project Development and Implementation from University of Ibadan Nigeria.
He is also an ardent listener and enthusiast of traditional African music.
Femi Taiwo is the Team Lead, Market and Media Research at NOIPolls. He has over 10 years work experience in the research Industry which spans research design, business analytics, randomised evaluation, data analysis and management, collection of primary and secondary data.
Femi’s early years in the research industry was in market research where he provided research services in retail audit measurement, sales tracking, product testing, retail census, concept testing, consumer behaviour, customer satisfaction, cooperate image perception, advertisement tracking, television & radio audience measurement. Some clients worked on the aforementioned include; Standard Charted Bank, Nigerian Breweries, Coke International, Airtel, MTN, Motorola, Flourmills of Nigeria, Friesland, etc. In recent years as a social researcher, he has designed impact evaluations to measure the impact of interventions and programs of the development sector organisations such as; World Bank, DFID, GIZ, BMGF, ENCompass, IRI, CHAI, ARFH, HERFON, CDD, Dalberg etc. The thematic areas he has been involved in are; health, education, agriculture, energy, conflict resolution, governance, economy (Micro Small Medium Enterprises).
He holds a National Diploma in Statistics and a bachelor of science in Statistics from the Olabisi Onabanjo University. He is currently writing his thesis for his Master’s in Business Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria.
He is an avid football and tennis player who is also passionate about gender equality, wildlife and science inventions. He is also a keen traveler.
Chineze Udechukwu currently leads the Human Resources and Administration Unit. She is responsible for leading and improving Human Resource and Admin functions in delivering quality and business focused HR services for the strategic and operational development of the company.
She is also responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring effective Administrative and HR systems to support business operations. Having worked in the IT and Real Estate sectors for over 7 years, she has garnered comprehensive experience in: Recruitment; Employee benefits and welfare; HR policy design, Performance Management and Administration.
She is passionate about bridging the gap between Management and Staff while ensuring that the Organization works to achieve its goals. In her spare time, she likes to work with children and has a personal interest in supporting the homeless and destitute by ensuring they have their basic needs met.
Chidi Akubue is the Acting Head of Department at the NOIPolls Opinion Polling Centre (NOPC) which puts him in charge of the day-to-day running of the Centre which includes designing survey instruments designs, report writing, proposal writing, quality control checks and cost management control and overseeing its management.
He has over 8 years work experience and has gathered organizational and managerial experience having worked as a Customer Care Representative for Zain Nigeria Telecommunications and later as an Assistant Team Lead at the Airtel Nigeria Telecommunication. His main skillsets include the use of various call center software to guaranty that deliverables are met on time and also ensure customer satisfaction.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna and a diploma in Customer Service. He also has a certification in Workplace Safety and Health, Project Management, Fundamentals of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and currently running a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Business Administration at the National Open University, Abuja.
He loves to meet new people and is also a keen traveler. He is a football enthusiast and a fervent supporter of the Chelsea football club.
