Mr. Mukang Baklit, the third collaborator in the climate change compendium, further scrutinizes the repercussions of climate change on means of livelihood, with a particular focus on agriculture given its pivotal role in the economy and the dependency of numerous livelihoods on it. Such hurdles to subsistence include the risk of food scarcity and the escalating prices of food and crops, among others.

In his presentation, Prof. Akinbobola Ademola highlighted the measures and actions necessary to cope with the repercussions of climate change on agriculture. He stressed the critical importance of obtaining meteorological and climatic knowledge.

Converge2.0 showcased collaboration between NOIPolls and the academia, with the launch of a climate change compendium published alongside the survey report. Prof. Grace Oluokoi, a professor of urban planning and environmental management at Lead City University, Ibadan, presented her research article.
